Gotcha began in 2017 in Australia with a bold vision: to transform bubble tea from a simple street-side drink into a premium, artisanal experience. We believed that tea lovers deserved more more flavor, more quality, and more heart.
At a time when "premium bubble tea" was a new concept, our founder saw an opportunity to innovate. "People care about what’s in their cup and how it’s crafted," he notes. "At Gotcha, we don't just make tea; we take the art of the brew seriously."
Bringing a background in design and engineering to the counter, our founder reinvented the process. He developed Gotcha’s signature "quick-shake" technology a game-changer that cools a hot brew in just 0.5 seconds. This precision ensures that every cup maintains its perfect flavor profile and refreshing chill.
